Charlie & Nicholas'

Relaxed Rustic Wedding at Noble River Estate

Some love stories grow quietly over time, building a foundation that feels both steady and certain. For Charlie and Nicholas, it all began as teenagers. Friends at just 13, they started dating at 16 and have been side by side ever since. By 21, they had bought their first home together, engaged at 22, and by 26, they were ready to celebrate their journey with a wedding that reflected everything they had built together.

Held on 25 October 2025 in Dwellingup at Noble River Estate, their wedding was a relaxed and intimate celebration with 60 of their closest family and friends. The day carried a calm, easy energy from beginning to end, perfectly suited to the peaceful surrounds of the bush. Their styling followed the natural beauty of the venue, with a warm rust colour palette woven through the details.

“We wanted something very natural,” they shared. “We really just went with the venue.” The result was a look that felt effortless and grounded, letting the setting speak for itself.

Dwellingup was an easy choice for the couple. “We loved the relaxed nature of it,” they said. The quiet, secluded environment created a sense of calm that can be hard to find elsewhere. Without the pressure of strict time limits or back-to-back bookings, the day unfolded at its own pace, allowing them to truly settle into each moment.

Guests embraced the location just as much as the couple did. “They loved it,” Charlie said. With on-site accommodation available, many were able to stay and enjoy the full experience, making it feel less like a single day and more like a shared getaway.

One of the standout aspects of the venue was its simplicity and flexibility. “Everything was in one place,” they said, making the planning process far more straightforward. The ability to bring in their own elements also meant they could create a day that felt entirely their own. “It was nice to be able to bring in everything yourself so you don’t have to compromise on anything.”

They had considered other locations, including Quarry Farm, but ultimately it was the peaceful charm and practicality of Dwellingup that made their decision clear. The combination of on-site accommodation and generous setup times added to the ease of the experience, allowing them to focus on what mattered most.

When reflecting on the day, it was difficult to choose just one standout moment. “Too many to count,” Charlie said. “But seeing my dad and now husband’s face when I was all dressed up was definitely the best.” A moment filled with emotion, marking the beginning of their next chapter together.

Charlie and Nicholas’ wedding was a true reflection of their story. Calm, genuine, and deeply connected, it was a celebration that honoured not only where they are now, but everything that led them there.
