There is a certain magic that happens when the rugged beauty of the Western Australian bush meets a happily ever after vision. For Nicole and Luke, their wedding wasn’t just a ceremony, it was a curated experience designed to feel like a forest fantasy, an ethereal and easy going celebration tucked away under the towering canopy of Dwellingup’s iconic timberland. Settling on Jarrahfall Bush Camp as their backdrop, the couple traded the traditional ballroom for birdcall and ancient trees, creating a day that was as relaxed as it was breathtaking.
Every great romance has its unique beginning, and for Nicole and Luke, it started with a swipe on Bumble in 2019.
Their first date set the tone for a lifetime of fun and whimsy: Nicole helped Luke decorate his Christmas tree before the pair headed off to see Frozen at the cinema. Fast forward to February 2026, and the pair were ready to write their next chapter. While they initially scouted locations like Chapel Farm in the Swan Valley, the call of the wild eventually led them south to choose Jarrahfall Bush Camp, Dwellingup.
When asked why they chose Dwellingup, the answer was simple: the country town vibes surrounded by large trees in the woods. Jarrahfall Bush Camp offered the perfect canvas for their forest fantasy theme. The venue is renowned for its immersive nature experience, and for Nicole and Luke, the standout feature was the seamless support from the Jarrahfall team.
“They were very easy to communicate with and handled the day of coordination perfectly,” Nicole shared, noting that having a team who understands the logistics of a forest wedding allowed them to actually enjoy their day.
For Nicole and Luke, the special element of their wedding wasn’t just one thing, it was the synergy of everything coming together in this specific pocket of the world. “Everything made it special,” Nicole reflects. “The stunning venue, the team, the vendors, but most importantly, knowing it was the start of forever”.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows through the Jarrah trees, Nicole and Luke’s dream became a reality, a day defined by love, nature, and the effortless charm of a Dwellingup summer.
